Default Brand new member, I need some help with an e250

Like the title says brand new member here, I've got a Ford e-250 2014 V8 4.6 L with a broken oil dipstick tube I unfortunately let some people redo my head gaskets that probably shouldn't have and they damaged my oil dipstick tube I now have to replace it I'm not entirely sure how to go about this any advice would be greatly appreciated

That sounds like you are in a spot. I would definitely recommend looking at youtube videos.
Apologies for no real solution.

While I do appreciate the suggestion, I've already looked over YouTube my question really is more how do I replace it without pulling large pieces of the engine out to install the tube I need some practical advice on how to get the new tube in without disassembling the engine

Not knowing exactly what equip is interfering with installing from the top, sometimes it can be easier to consider working from the bottom up.

Perhaps, I'll have to take a good look at that option I really don't have any solid thought on how it should work, I don't know we'll see

I'll try to upload a service document. But basically you remove the air cleaner, it says you have to remove the LH exhaust manifold. And if I remember correctly, that is because the tube goes "though" the manifold. I remember it to be a fairly easy, but I am a Service tech. Remove the dog box, to get to the back bolts. If they replaced the heads they should have also replaced the studs and nuts for the manifold so you shouldn't have trouble with broken studs.

If you don't feel confident with the repair, don't start. Since they broke it maybe they should fix it. Good luck, let me know if you any questions.

I broke mine as well, I was able to knock the old one through into my pan and use a flex magnet stick into my oil pan to retrieve it, I believe I removed one of the brackets on the oil dipstick tube so I could bend and maneuver it through my exhaust manifold without pulling anything off the engine, I made it go through and it doesn’t leak, I only have one bracket at the top that’s attached to the engine, the hardest part was pushing the tube into the engine itself.
