E250 power lock fuse blowing

E250 power lock fuse blowing
I have a 2008 Ford E250 with keyless entry. A few weeks ago, it stopped working, I replaced the fuse and it was fine for a while, but then it blew again. The switch inside the back door was pretty rough looking, so I disconnected it since I never used it any
way, and I was good for a week. 2 days ago, it went again, so before heading out this morning, I put a new fuse in, and at my first stop, I went to lock the doors, and nothing…
I’ve put my meter in line and have never seen more than about 8 amps, but my Fluke 23 does not have a peak hold. The fuse is a 20 amp.
Thank you in advance for any input.

- Fuses 2, 5 and 23 are related to power locks, it’s the #23 fuse that keeps blowing
- I have Remote keyless entry.
- when the fuse is blown, neither the remotes nor the door switches work.
- I have found nothing else effected by this fuse being blown.
- Does not seem to have any weather connections, like rain.
Thank you in advance for any input.
