Default e350 trailer harness

I have a 2004 E350 without the factory tow package. I found all of the relays in the engine compartment (aux power, trailer lights, brake controller) and a 6 pin connector in the pass compartment with four wires (red, blue, brown and black). I think it is for the brake controller. I purchased a ford harness with a seven pin trailer receptacle. The harness ends in two plugs. I found a harness that was capped near the rear axel. That connected the lights and they work correctly. I could not find a place to plug in the second part with a large red, orange and black wires. Does anyone know if I just need an additional harness to go from front to back and where I should find a place to plug it in?
