E350 XLT super duty 2006 jumps into Emergency mode
Hey guys I’ve got some problems with my 2006 E350 XLT super duty 5,4L gasoline.
VIN: 1FBNE31L76HA31696
It allways jumps into emergency mode, mostly when I need the power/excelerate or drive uphill.
According to the mecanics, the error code is said that the throttle body has a problem.. after renewing the throttle body and the sensor and the gasoline filter.. nothing changed.
Then we checked the fuel pump pressure (cant remember exactly but i think it was about 2,8bar - 3,0bar) which was at the minimum required pressure and we cleaned the fuel pump contacts… then it went all good.. for another 2.500 km. (dont know exactly what we fixed..🤷🏽♂️)
Same problem again.. mecanic said the sparkplugs are bad.. changed them.. no problem for another 1000km…
(Here we figguered out that one of the sparkplgus is a different one, cause it was shot out once and then replaced by another one with a bigger thread.
Now same problem again..
A „specialist“ told me after an remote analysis, that it s probably the fuel pump..
The problem is that I‘m in Bolivia right now and wont get original parts.
The only USA-parts store could offer me the following pump..
Brand: electric performance fuel pumps
Model Nr. P2226K
Serial Nr: E-2226 2010 11
According to the seller, it should bring up to 7 bar/ 101 psi pressure.
So my Question is:
Do you think the fuel pump is the problem?
Anyone knows what pressure it should bring?
Does the offered pump fits the engine?
The pump whit is built in right now is following:
Serial Nr: 6C24-9350-AA
Glad for any help or tips!!
Thanks in advance, Flo 🙂
