I have owned 2009 E-250 for about two years now and the A/C never worked. I have wrenched on lots of things but never worked with A/C before.

Today I bought some manifold gauges from Harbor Freight and starting troubleshooting. No pressure, filled it up with a can and got enough pressure in there to see that the compressor works. It was not blowing cold but it was working. I poked around a bit and found refrigerant leaking from the condenser.

I am about to buy a new condenser and a dryer.

!) Are there other parts I should replace while I have the system open?

2) Did these things not come with auxiliary fans/condenser fans? I was surprised to not see some kind of electric fan tucked up in the front to pull air when sitting in traffic.
