Unhappy ford cargo van e150 1999 transmission problem help please?

hi i have a ford cargo van e150 v8 triton 1999. i swap the engine and everything was fine, drive it for a while everything seems to be good! but when i was going to work i turned it over and heard a horrible sound coming between the engine and tranny. and now the van wont move even when i shift it into drive nor reverse, 1 and 2 please help!! transmission seems like it wants to go into gear but hit the gas and nothing!! seems like is in neutral all the time

A good place to start would be to drop the flywheel cover and see if the torque converter is still attached to the flywheel.

already did that!! and everything seems to be fine!!! but still i dont get why it stop working ? everything was going well!! already checked the TPS,Break switch , and shift inner lock system? and still nothing!! what should i do??
