Default fuel injector leak after plug replacement

I rotated the injector to access the bolt holding the coil pack because the injector's electrical plug was in the way of the bolt. now the fuel line above the injector is spraying fuel on the engine when turned on. any ideas? 2001 e350 5.4

Consider getting an injector "O" ring kit (from Ford if possible) . Remove that bank of injectors and replace the O rings on all 4 of the injectors. If one was borderline the other can't be far behind. Do it once and do it right. Its a PIA , but better once done.

So i have to drain the fuel lines and remove the metal supply lines above the injectors, correct?

Whatever you have to do to lift out the bank. There should be no pressure in the system since it should have leaked out through the leaking o ring.
Take the keys out of the ignition and put them in your pocket so nobody turns the key on accidentally or give the inertia switch a good rap with your hand and you should hear the ball roll off the step. That will also disable the fuel pump. Just don't forget to reset the inertia switch when ready to check for leaks. Your inertia switch should be located over the passenger side kick panel inside the cab.

The o-ring got crushed when I moved the injector the first time I replaced it. arrgh... just have to be careful when you seat the o-rings. Is all working now,
thanks hanky
