A suggestion, clean the area good and make sure the coolant is actually coming from the sensor. I see other things there that could also be a source of a leak. Once cleaned you can be positive where the coolant is coming from. Maybe the fan is blowing it around and spreading it.

Thanks for your reply Hanky,

Have your ever heard or seen an econoline van leak antifreeze on and off?

My does it. And it is very hard to really know where antifreeze is leaking from because it does not leak all the time.

When it leaks it is usually in the morning when I start up truck. But antifreeze will stop leaking shortly after that. And it not may leak again for another few days.

And it is not leaking from water pump, radiator hoses,or timing chain cover. Not only I had all that work done but I have visually check for leas on that area.

I thought it was leaking from somewhere at or near antifreeze coolant sender( and that it why I posted the pictures because I was not sure what that sensor was) but last Sunday when van was slightly leaking I removed all the parts to look at coolant sender and I could see it was not leaking from there either

The only thing i could notice is that there was some antifreeze coming out or at least appears to be coming out of the front-passenger side of engine right behind the alternator. I had to go underneath the truck with a flash light in order to see it.

Any thoughts on this matter will be appreciated.

Thanks.

In looking more closely at your posted pix I would check the area just above where the coolant sensor is mounted. I don't remember what is mounted up there , but it probably leaks only when the engine is cold and as everything warms up and expands the leak stops and some of if not all of the coolant dries up. The easiest way to find this source of a leak is to pressure test the cooling system with a pressure tester when cold.
