Default Info on Rear Fuel Tank

I just bought an E-150 that was previously a handicap accessible van.
It was factory equiped with the AFT of AXLE fuel system.
Questions
Is the fuel pick up common to both tanks, (they have separate fill tubes)
Does anyone out there Know anything about the system.
Thanks

Is this a Gasoline operated or Diesel operated vehicle?

What year the vehicle was manufactured can be helpful.
There should be a switching valve or switch on the instrument panel.
Depending on which system the vehicle has will determine which path we choose to follow.
We should be able to assist and hopefully answer any questions regarding the operation.
Can you fill us in as to which the vehicle has?

Look under the dash too. The '85 I had came out from the factory with dual tanks but the switch was down under the dash.

Flattery will get us everywhere ?
I come here to learn from everybody else on the forum.
There is so much new stuff coming out every day and it is very challenging to try to keep up with it.
It is amazing just how much info is in the owner's manual, that book you look through for something to read while you wait for the towing company !
We have some new folks coming in and a lot of them bring in some new fixes, always good to go thru them.

The Ford family is alive and well.

There may be another way to determine how this unit was built.

From your experience, when you went to fuel up the vehicle , did it always take the same amount of fuel in both tanks?

If not which took more? How much more?
