No Turn Signals/hazzards after Ford service on E150 van????
Pulled the wife's E-150 campmobile out of its winter resting place in the barn and took it to the Ford dealer for "diagnosis" (a $102 fee) for a check engine light and a subsequent O2 sensor replacement (another $151 charge, including $68 for the sensor) and "computer update download from the factory" and learned that the mechanic moved the steering wheel tilt and the brake lights/turn signals/hazards no longer work. Didn't feel like paying them another $150 to figure out why the turn signals worked just fine on the drive to the dealership, but wouldn't work after they moved the truck. The service writer did advise that moving the steering wheel tilt setting "might" have interrupted the connection.
I pulled the #11 fuse (which the owner book says is for the brake and "multifunction" circuit) and it looks intact. It's a 20 amp fuse (I think) that shows the whole loop of fusible material.
Anyone know what on the tilt system would cut off the turn signals? I need to fix this, but not at their prices.
