Default Quieting the Van...

Anyone try to quiet the noise in their Econlines' yet? I've started by installing wind deflectors around the windows which helped by lowering the frequiency of the wind noise to a more tolerable level. The second thing I was going to try was some Quietcar under the carpet around the wheel wells. I've been eyeing that engine cowling, suspecious that it is the culpret for a lot of the noise as well. Mini vans are much quieter, why can we make these full size vans at least some quieter? Any suggestions?

You don't say if this is a cargo van or some variation of a passenger-type van but if it's the first I've started insulating mine with some "high tech" foil and mylar material originally intended for steel skinned buildings. So far I'd done only the roof and parts of the upper sides and it's already made a nice difference in sound levels and heat/AC efficiency.

If you'd like more info on this email me or post a message here.

Thanks

Thanks JWA. I had been wanting something to insulate a metal shed & the van roof. I never knew what to ask for.
