Default Steering problems

I have a 99 e150 that is hard to make right turns. I have already replaced the gearbox, pump and steering links. I have lower ball joints but not installed yet. Anyone out there have any info on what may be causing me to struggle to turn this beast right? The van had been in an accident to the passenger side causing me to replace said parts already.

Not having seen or knowing what was damaged, all we can ask is ;
what is the condition of the strut mtg and radius rod mounting , steering linkage ?
If you disconnect the tie rod end from the steering arm on the right side does the left side turn and feel OK?
Now all we have left is the ball joints, alignment and the strut assy and mtg. How hard is it to move the right side to the extremes with the tie rod disconnected?
Just asking, was this condition possibly the cause for the mishap?

If you replaced the steering box assy, did you line up the marks for the pitman arm to the sector shaft on the box?
This might not apply, but need to ask anyway. Was the ign in the lock position preventing the steering shaft from being installed in a position that compromised the clock spring?

With an accident being stated, an alignment check could indicate structural frame damage such as a caster problem. My thinking, if a suspension part is worn, binding or damaged, the steering would be difficult in both directions.A gearbox could do it but you replaced it and had the same problem. If you jack up the front end, lifting the wheels off the ground, does it still turn hard???

I would jack up the front of the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to see if it gets easier. Then disconnect one tie rod end at a time to figure out if it's one wheel that is causing the problem. Disconnect the center/drag link from the Pitman arm and see how easily the steering wheel can be turned to see if the problem is in the steering column. By breaking the system into pieces it should lead you to the problem.
