Default vaccum lines

I have a 1996 ford van 5.0 liter,under the hood next to washer fluid bottle there is a 1" hose that goes to what looks like a fuel filter,at the other end is open. what goes at the open end?

My guess is that is the checkvalve for your windshield washer fluid....

Hey all,

well the motor is in, and we have everything hooked back up except there seem to be a few vaccum lines on the motor itself that have no place to go. Now, either we hooked something up wrong when installing the new motor, or is it possible that we just have to plug them. If pictures are needed i will post them tonight
