Weird battery drain
I have been restoring a 1984 E150 Clubwagon (350 4bbl) with a battery drain that left me powerless after parking for three hours. Finally I managed to track it down. Using a DMM between the battery post and the negative terminal, I initially had a reading of .16-7 on the DC 20a setting. I pulled fuses untill I found one that dropped that down to .01; it was the fuse maked "LP COURT".
Now the wierd Part...
I popped the fuse back and my reading REMAINED at .01...
does this make any sense? Would a Parasitic Battery Drain be cured by pulling fuse from the offending circuit and PUTTING it BACK IN?
Just wondering if I should worry about this reoccuring..
Thanks for any ideas or comments.
