Hello everyone, I currently have Toyota Camry and considering getting Ford Edge being I have gpc fin code and can get good discount. I do wonder if there is any know problem with 2012 or 2013 edge I am asking this because i recently had transmission die on 2011 e150 at 18k. So little worry about getting edge and having same problem 1 year down the line.

I just traded in my 2011 Edge SEL (6000 Mi.) on a 2013 Sport with all the bells and whistles. Love it but after 600 Mi. have only one problem. The remote start function doesn't work. Love the car, very fast for an "old man's" car and love the killer wheels.

 

traded the wifes 2010 escape limited w sport package in for the 2013 edge sport in pearl white.
what a wicked SUV, everyone asks about the wheels and the interior is amazing. Kids and dogs love the panerama roof.

sad i had to put 18" winter wheels and tires on last week as i am in canada and our winters can be harsh, dont think those 22's would be much help

 

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I too just bought the '13 Edge Sport in Pearl White. I have the Drivers Entry pkg, Vision Pkg and Vista Roof. Do you think the interior is cheap because I do? THe leather seats seem really thin. Lots of plastic in there too! I only have 372 miles on mine. I've just had it 5 days. What kind of mileage are you getting on yours?

 

Don't even think about the Ecoboost option. The 6.6L/100 is totally false, as on the HWY it is closer to 11 -12 L/100. The city is crazy and well over 15L/100. Been to two dealers, and they won't even look at it. BTW my Mustang GT get 11.2L/100 and I drive that hard.

I have a 2013 edge limited v6 awd loaded with just about every option. We really like everything about the car ride, comfort, handling and quietness.
The one thing I am very disappointed with is the gas mileage in 3,200 miles we have not gotten better than 18 mpg even on the highway.
My 20007 Rav4 v6 awd limited averaged 23 mpg and highway 27 mpg. I think Ford misstated there gas mileage, shame on them.

 

I think you must have the 3.7 liter engine. I have that motor in my Sport and average about 18.9 combined. I Have K&N ir cleaner and Magnaflow exhaust system. I think you having AWD accounts for the reduction in milage. It is a well known fact that putting the extra drive equipment in results in more fuel consumption.

 

My limited has 273,000 on her with original engine! The sunroof is a pain in my neck though.
