Hi, I have an 08 Excape XLT and wanted to know if the aftermarket bulbs are brighter and wider as they advertise and worth installing?

My 08 compared to my '98 B 2500 I thought the escape was really bright.
But in Nov 11 I hit a dear with the Escape and am thinking about getting brighter bulbs.

Slyvania sliverstar Ultra seemed to be the advertised brightest and widest.

But in reviews some say they see a huge difference and others say not much. Since they also have a shorter life span, I was wondering if anyone knows the ratings on the bulbs in Escapes and if there are bulbs the CLEARLY are better than what come in the 08 Escape.

If you have replaced yours please let me know what brand you chose and how they have been performing.

Like I said, the 08 lights seem bright to me so I am not sure what they were putting in these and if the wattage is not changing, how much brighter can they be. According to the package, quite a large percentage difference.
