Glad you found and corrected the present problem, which you suspected, since it must have been giving some warnings in the past. Now that you are aware of the problems you could have with the coded key(s), do you think you want to wait for that problem to present itself up the road?

Just had a new key made as a backup. It cost $50 which was $30 less than the dealership.

Just think, now if you have 2 good coded keys you can get another coded key cut just for the price of cutting the key and code the third key yourself. If you decide to do that let us know and we should be able to assist you to do that.

glad to hear you got it fixed and I've noticed this with these forums, I think we all can only guess what the problem is with a person's vehicle and in this case we were all wrong. Yes that includes me none of us thought about the clutch switch that was the culprit of this guys troubles. for that reason I must say that I'm sorry
