Default 2008 escape PCM interchangeability

hello
have a 2008 ford escape with a bad PCM pn: 8L8A-12A650A-ALB and catchcode SJE1.

the replacement PCM is : 8L8A-12A650-BEA catchcode SVE0.

the big question is: will the second PCM fit and start the car normally ?

FYI i have the ford dealer programming device.

thanks

I think your best bet would be to check with a Ford dealer parts dept.
They do change specs in between model years and it could be a gamble.

I suspect the replacement PCM is refusing to accept the new vehicle you installed it in.

I also believe you have missed a few steps in setting up the replacement PCM.

A lot of the info you need will probably only be available at the dealership location.

never sucess, what a loss, they offered 600$ if i start her up.

im pretty sure it was an instrument cluster problem since the keys were programmed and THEFT is solid for one minutes then flashed twice then once respectively.

did IC reprogramming, etc, and the problem went worse because after i did parameter reset in PATS SECURITY, the old PCM wont start the engine as the new pcm, with the same THEFT light activity above.

big :bang: :wall:

I reprogrammed the PCM, ic, using ford VCMII device and IDS software.
