2012 ford escape instrument cluster panel
Hi! I am looking to replace my 2012 Ford Escape instrument cluster panel. Can I just get a used one online, at say, ebay. And can I just install it without adjusting the mileage. The issue I am having with the old one is the lights are all flashing and I have to hit it on the dashboard to get everything to go out. Plus the turn signals do not show on the cluster when in operation. Thanks. Lanman122

First are you sure the fault is in the cluster and not the connector or harness? I think even with a used cluster from the same year as your vehicle there will need to be programming done to match the cluster to your VIN.
The vehicle mileage is saved in the cluster and there is no easy way to change it. Lets say your vehicle has 70,000 miles and you buy a cluster with 90,000 miles, when you install the new cluster you will show 90,000.
I bought a used cluster for my old Mazda and I just waiting till the vehicle mileage matched approx what the new cluster mileage was, then I did the install so the mileage would be correct.
