2014 Ford Escape Starter replacement

I was able to remove the starter but am having a problem installing it. The main reason being a wire from the harness to the oil filter, There is a clip holding this wire on and I cannot seem to find the release clip.

What usually works is to use the exact procedure you used to remove the starter to get past that wire , just reverse the same steps.
