All. I bought my daughter a 2020 Ford Escape (used) 18K miles certified. My issue is I have read about the backup camera and its issue.

my issue is they completed the recall and fixed the backup camera but it doesn’t have the backup guidelines now when you are backing up. The dealer told me that was the fix and right now there is no update to have the guidelines in there when you are in reverse.

my question is has anyone with a 2020 Ford Escape fixed the recall item on the backup camera not have guidelines now?

also can I get the guidelines back from the dealership with a new software install or something?

Did the update work to get the lines back on the camera? I just bought my son a used 2020 escape as well and there are no lines on the camera either. Hoping it is an easy fix to get them back. Thanks
