Question Interior lights

Good evening,
I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my interior lights. They suddenly stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I replaced the appropriate fuses and they worked again for 2 days. Then, this morning, they did not work. Does anyone know the next step? (I haven't had a chance today to see which fuse blew this time) It seems to me that it's something electrical that is overwhelming the circuit and then causing the fuse to blow. I am trying to take care of this myself versus going to a repair shop to save time and money...two things I am very short on right now.
Thank you!

Did your vehicle have courtesy lights that came on when a door opened and with the interior light sw ?

Are these the lights you are referring to ?

Is there a switch at the light also?

Are there 2 under the dash and one in the roof ? If not, what does your vehicle have ?

Yes, it's all of the interior lights, but not the dashboard. The lights at the top center of the car, the lights on the steering wheel controls (cruise, etc), and the lights on the floor.

Before going any further, lets see if heiko can pull up a wiring diagram for us.
There could be a front electronic module and if there is a diagram will show that.

Thank you. I'm sorry. I don't usually use message boards, but I know that they are a place to find people with much more expertise than I have.
So...
2018 Ford Escape SEL 1.5 L, 4WD Auto
the inside lights don't turn on at all, either by switch or by opening the door.

Thank you for your patience

Your owners manual has loads of good info in it including which fuses protect what features and it can save you a lot of time and wasted energy.

It should describe the fuse(s) which are involved and a diagram of the fuse panels for interior/courtesy lighting. Once you know that you confine your efforts the checking those first..

Thank you. I replaced the fuses last week, that worked for 2 days. I just pulled out those fuses again and they look brand new. I don't think it's the fuses that are the problem now. Unless they can go bad and still look good, but that doesn't seem right.

Can you turn them on using the switch on the dash ?

If not are the fuses good or do "look" good?
