Default knocking noise on a 2011 Ford Escape

Hoping someone here can shed some lights on this issue and I will keep this short as this has been going on over a year. I had 3 different dealerships involved and Ford Canada and still issue has not been resolved. Started last year when I make a yield right turn going about 40km+ and applying the brakes I hear this knocking noise coming from the driver side. 3 different Dealerships looked at this issue and could not find what the issue was, they could replicated but didnt know why its happening. They ended up replacing both stabilizer links and both struts and that didn't resolve anything. I changed my rotors and pads in May and the sound went away for 2 months and came back. I looked under the vehicle to check to see if there is any shinny metal indicating its rubbing but nothing. I'm thinking it must be something with the caliper, I would want to say its a brake issue because if I do the same turn and not apply the brake there is no sound. I have included a video to show you guys the knocking noise.

Everytime I hear a clicking/knocking sound coming from the front end that is mainly there on turns, I think CV joint. Has this been checked? It's usually bad when the boot is ripped and the grease had been dispersed, but it has been know for CV's to go bad with plenty of grease in the boot.

Tell him to make sure that his calipers aren't frozen when installing new pads or rotors, better yet replace them or rebuild them if in doubt. This will help to insure longer life and no rotor warping. I've had mine on a Ford Escape for a year and been happy with them.

Luk Schaffer makes a nice slotted cross drilled rotor (this may help keep them cool and prohibit warping) for not a ton of money. I think they're called Black XD Series.

The slides the caliper floats on would be the simple item, but the sounds frequency makes me feel it is actually in the cabin. Can its source be better localized?
Complicated issues may be with the Electronic Power Steering or the ESC system. That should be able to monitored while driving through the OBDII port. maybe pre-charging or in indecision.
