Default Need sparkplug info. for 2008 Escape

The manual says to contact a Ford dealership for the parts. Not interested in doing that.
Anyone know the OEM maker/part # for these plugs? Its the 4cyl fwiw.
When I search autozone.com I get a ton of options. I just want the OEM equivalent.
Thanks!

You could ask the dealer for the correct plug number and then cross that over to whatever one matches.

The factory installed plugs are IRIDIUM plugs. I suspect they will be NGK "Laser-Iridium" part number 3789 (ILTR6A-13G). You could also use the Motorcraft double platinum (#SP448 / AGSF32YPC). Owners manual reads like a "SCARE TACTIC SIDE STEP" to the "MAGNUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT" by stating that you may void your warranty is you use nothing but dealer suppied spark plugs. Just to get you to buy over priced spark plugs.

For pricing comparison, ROCKAUTO.COM has the Motorcraft SP448 Double Platinum for $7 each and the NGK Iriduim ILTR6A13G for $10 each.

Thx a bunch UCS...exactly what I wanted. Part numbers!
I guess I could just pull one first as well, but I figured they might just have Ford OEM numbers on them like my BMW plugs did. Fwiw autozone.com shows both part numbers you mentioned so I'm guessing either is fine.

For fun I just pulled a plug. As suspected no makers name. Just the word 'Japan' on the nut and 'ITR5F13' on the insulator. When you Google ITR5F13 you get the proper NGK plug displayed. Strange that a different part number (UCS's) comes up when you use NGK's part finder tool.

I wound up going w/ the Bosch Iridium Fusion plugs #4504. The NGK part at my local AutoZone were $13.50...the Bosch's $8. Sorry but $13.50 a plug for a little 4-banger is ridiculous. Car runs perfectly with the Bosch's.
One thing that truly sucks is that I managed to break one of the little release tabs that attaches the wiring plug to the COP. Now it won't stay on without a zip tie. All I did was push on it and it broke. Cheap plastic %^&*. Guess I'll see if the dealer sells a repair kit for it.

My local Ford dealer parts dept. guy was a dingaling. My stepdad works at a GM dealership in the parts dept. He had a coworker look this up and order it for me.
Google this and you'll find the coil-on-plug connector I needed.
'Standard Motor Products s819' I'm sure there are others, but this one is a confirmed fit if anyone ever needs it.
