Default 93 ford escort lossing power

I recently received a 93 ford escort stationwagon. I have had to replace the timingbelt, water pump, altanator, plugs, fuel filter and finally the fuel pump. Now the car with crank but wont stay started. I was driving home from work about a week after replacing the fuel pump and it just died in the middle of the road and wouldn't start. I let it sit in a parking lot for 24 hours went back to call a wrecker and it cranked right up. I know I need to change the ignition coil but what else could be going on with it? I need all the information I can get.

Hello and good day:

If you have a Bad Coil Pack (cracked, exposed...etc) would cause these symptoms. But youmention that you replaced the Fuel Pump recently....Check to make sure the connector harness?

You might want to check the MAF sensor. If its loose it might be giveing you the problem. Its on the intake and one of the clasps may have came off.
