99 Escort stalls on long trips..dealer says nothing wrong

99 Escort stalls on long trips..dealer says nothing wrong
My cousin gave me her 99 Escort because it will stall out on long trips and then will not start. She's had it towed to the dealer 4 times for every imaginable diagnostic-they say nothing is wrong. What do you think could be causing this?
