Default How do increase the idle on a 98 Escort?

I just bought this car and it sometimes stalls when I stop. I called the previous owner and he told me that he lowered the idle to save gas. I know I can increase the idle by turning something on the engine but I have no idea where it is. Can someone give me a detailed description of where it is and what it looks like. Thank you in advance. A picture would be great.

[sm=welcomesign.gif]Where the air filter assembly goes into the engine is where you need to look.[hr]Now look for the throttle cable.[hr]There should be a screw on the throttle cable plate.[hr]This is your idle screw.[hr]Sorry no pictures.
