Default Not Charging

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on this problem. My battery is not being charged by the alternator. Here are things I replaced:

1. Battery
2. Alternator
3 Belt - the belt is turning the alternator properly
4. Voltage regulator
5 all plugs are secure
6. checked voltage from battery only getting 10v?
7 checked voltage from the alternator..getting 8V?
8. all the contacts are good. no corrosion

is it possible it's the wires? or am i missing something here?

oh and my battery light is on.lol and the brake light..i think i have a lightly seized rear drum..i really don't think that would do anything.lol

yes that's when it's running and if im not mistaken the output from the battery alone should be 14.1 to 14.7 is that correct?

Yes it should be around 14v.[hr]If you are getting 8v from the alternator running the alternator is no good.
