Excursion Stalls when gas released

Excursion Stalls when gas released
Wife just called. Only one other time is has had trouble starting. 2000 Excursion V10, whne she got it to start this morning it would stall whenever she took her foot off teh gas pedal. She held it at 2000 RPMs for 5 minutes and as soon as she let up it stalled. I had read somewhere something regarding IAC, what and where would that be? Someone else suggested fuel filter may be clogged. When pedal depressed it is forcing fuel through, but when released there is no pressure. Any suggestions or assitance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like it could be the iac. It should be located close to the throttle plates. chrome body and two bolts holding it on .It hasa two wire hook up. If you go to the parts store they may have one they can show you. Good luck

I was having trouble with my excursion with v10. when I tried to take off it would stall. You could restart it but it might stall again. It ran a little rough and didn't shift right. I had it checked out by the ford people and they found number ten coil bad. Replaced that and all is well.
