01 Expedition Air Bag Crash Sensor Code 46

01 Expedition Air Bag Crash Sensor Code 46
Recently I bought a used 2001 Expedition XLT...good shape, overall...but had been front-clip wrecked sometime in the past. Repairs were solid enough...so I thought.
Well, now I have a code 46 flashing on my air bag light upon start-up...which is the code for LH crash sensor not being mounted properly. After hours of looking on the internet, no one has apparently ever had to address this code, as there are no pictures of the LH sensor location, how it should be mounted...and no one offers it for sale (new or used) online...
Is this a dealer part? Where is the LH crash sensor located on a 2001 Expedition? How many total sensors does a 2001 Expedition have? (I assume there is the main clockspring in the column, and apparently at least two external ones...correct? or is the clockspring being counted as the LH sensor?)
Need help, please...don't want the $1000 dealer-bill to resolve, and I have to get the vehicle safety done, so I can tag it in my state SOON. Thanks!
