I had my mechanic change my brake pads (aftermarket pads) over a year ago. He resurfaced the rotors and now they are squeeling like crazy. He tells me we should change the pads and rotors to OEM and that will take care of the problem. The pads are still good. Can I get any suggestions on what I should do? Do I just put money into getting OEM brakes. Can it just be the pads I used that needs to be replaced & I can resurface the rotors?
