2000 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition – Towing Package ???
I have a 2000 Ford Expedition 5.4 engine (Eddie Bauer Series) and would like to know some info on towing a Travel trailer. I am thinking of pulling a trailer around 6000 – 7000 pounds unloaded/Dry weight.
(1) How do I know if my Expedition has the towing package that includes the better radiator and Transmission cooler?
(2) How much can I pull ? Does this include weight in the expedition along with trailer and the trailers content.
(3) How much weight can rest on the hitch? (800 and something pounds I think)
(4) I have been told that air bags could possibly be needed?
Any other questions I should be thinking of or help offered is appreciated.
