HI all
My 2000 expo has a idling prob. It hangs up at around 1400rpm for a second or two then it will come down to about 1000 then com down to around 700 for a bit then it comes back up to 900 and back down to 700. If im driving it around town it likes to bounce around the 1000rpm. so there u have it lol ive looked for vacume leaks cant hear any
After it has sat for 4 or 5 hours when u start it it blows a bunch of bluish gray smoke, then clears out.The smoke and the fast idle started at the same time.
I checked it for codes i dont have any but i did have a freeze frame for throtle position sensor, after i checked it it disapeared not sure if i erased it or what but it hasnt came back. The expo is still doing the above. Any ideas anybody?
OK i talked to my friend at autozone and a tech at ford they both said maybe the I.A.C. valve so i tryed it. It seems a bit better still kind of hangs up but its more steady. I still have a ton of condensation out the pipe not sure why.( its not coolant ive checked it )
