2006 Lincoln Navigator; Loss of Power going up launch ramp
I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. When I attempt to pull my boat out of the water on an inclined launch ramp, the Navigator will sometimes lose power and not move forward. The engine does not stall / shut-off...It just won't accelerate. After several attempts (sometimes 5-7 attempts) of stopping the vehicle, putting it in Park, and trying it again, it eventually will stop the shenanigans and successfully move the boat up the ramp. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?
- I use Premium fuel.
- I never have a problem other than in this situation (on boat launch ramp retrieving the boat).
Thank you!

Really sounds like a misfire, do you goto pull boat out and it stutters or just doesn't rev and sit there. Put it this way if you goto pull boat out and put your foot to the floor and don't let off will it pull boat out? How about when you launch the boat on the same ramp after boat is launched and you goto pull away from the ramp anything?
