Default 2011 expedition

Can any one help please ? I have a 2011 expedition with an annoying rattle which sounds like its coming from under the dash board, or under the car, I have had the dash apart and cant find any thing obvious! the rattle is not speed related, is not linked to the AC, the rattle is just 'there' even if you drive slow on a smooth road !!

thanks

Davey

Have you had a chance to look under the hood in the engine compartment to see if something is contacting the firewall and causing the sound to sound like it is under the dash?

Now we need to get more specific.
Do you hear the noise when the vehicle is just running, vehicle moving , standing still ?
If you are not sure if it could be from under the vehicle then you need to get under there and move things around to see if you can duplicate the sound. Noises have a way of telegraphing sounds that may originate in one place and sound like they are coming from another place.
Is it a tinny sound , a solid sound ? These are all important things to know .
