Angry About to give up

2012 Ford Expedition XLT. Driving down the road everything fine, instantly instrument cluster lights up like a Christmas tree. Low oil pressure light flashing. Oil pressure was fine, plenty of oil. Then it just died. Had to tow it to jobsite. Now when I turn the key it just clicks once no start. After attempting to find the problem I could smell a burning smell coming from under the hood passenger side. Figured maybe the starter or solenoid. Got underneath and saw where the burn was coming from (hopefully I can attach pictures) as I could see it was burning from the solenoid to the ignition switch, replaced the starter and solenoid, still didn't work. Same click no start. Checked starter relay it's good so I'm at a loss as to what to look for anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm about to throw up my hands and be done. Let me add about two weeks prior I got a deer in the hi way and it seems like everything has gone to pot with my Expie.

Bad starter? Bad starter wires? HELP Thank you!

Burning smell, looks like a firework went off right next to the starter! HELP Thank you!!

Not that it matters, but how long have you owned the rig?
If after the starter replacement, on a crank attempt, are the lights dimming? And/or, if the starter solenoid is bridged, does the engine crank normally?

I've owned it for 3 years. Never had a problem until hitting a deer. Then it's been one thing after another. No lights don't dim. Here's what I've done so far, new radiator, new starter, new throttle body new relays new battery. When I put the new battery in it acts like it wants to turn over, when I try to start it, it sounds like a rough start, but then after two attempts it returns back to click. I'm starting to think maybe it's the timing. Don't know what else to do. Thank you for your reply and I really appreciate any and all help.

Question Timing chain??

I'm beginning to think it's the timing chain. When a timing chain wears died it necessarily have to misfire? It's never misfired at all.

In one of the posts that disappeared, it was suggested to see if the engine was able to be to be rotated manually. Was that ever attempted and if so what was the result?
