Front air hot, rear air cold- Blend door?
I have a 98 Expedition XLT 5.4 with dual air conditioning. The rear air works perfect and the front air blows hot air no matter what. I have read all about the blend door issue I can find and think mine is broken internally. When I turn the temp **** from blue to red, I can hear the actuator running but nothing else. My question is this.... I have seen the repair for the Ranger and Exploder and wonder if anyone knows a fix other than yanking the whole dash out to repair this blend door on the Expedition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

im no expert on the subject but every heater core or air duct door problems ive ever incountered rather it be a ford or a chevy ,new or old seems like the dash had to come out to do it properly. maybe someone else knows of a easier way for your paticular suv but i wouldnt get my hopes up. good luck,, i hope you get it figured out soon summer is on its way
