Default Overheating issues? HELP!!

Hello,
i have a 98' expedition v8 i believe its a 5.4. Any ways it continues to act like its overheating. I have took it to several different mechanics and they have yet to figure out what is wrong with it. I can drive it for maybe 10 mins and the oil temp gauge goes as far as it can to hot, the oil light also comes on. I have flushed the radiator, replaced the thermostat, and changed the oil. All of the fluids are at normal levels. Yes i did flush the coolant system properly. Also the heater works for a little bit but when the oil light and temp gauge start tripping out the heat quits working........HELP!!!

That's your sure sign that you have either air trapped in the system (less likely since the entire engine overheats), or the water pump is messed up and stopped circulating the coolant through the engine.

I would take out the water pump and check it first - I bet it's messed up, or blocked ... if there was work done on the engine, maybe someone left some crap inside the cooling channels so now you have a plug that obstructs proper coolant circulation.

Let us know, and good luck!
