Default Rear defrost became disconnected

The metal part that connects to the rear window defrost on one side has somehow become disconnected. Was told if I bought liquid weld I could repair it easily. I can't find such a thing at any hardware store or auto parts store. They carry a "kit" but that is almost $50.00 to buy. I believe a conductive glue would work to fix it without buy the whole kit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use 'silver conductive epoxy'..

You can find it at most electronic/computer stores for doingmotherboard repairs, bridging, cold solder repairs ect.. I just bought the 2 part kit from Electronics Plus for 38.75 but you can find a wide range of prices over the internet.. Like here as an example ~
