Default "Cigar Lighter"

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MAY BE WRONG?..............I HAVE AN 02 EXPLORER AND MY PHONE CHARGER STOPPED WORKING BUT IT IS NOT THE FUSE FOR THE CHARGER OR THE VEHICLE. NEITHER WERE BLOWN BUT I STILL REPLACED AND STILL NONE OF THE PLUGS IN THE FRONT OR REAR WILL CHARGE. CHARGER WORKS IN ANOTHER VEHICLE.

Try taking apart your vehicle in the means of taking apart the molding or w/e is around the cig lighter, the leads might have been cut behind the molding. If it is not the fuse in the charger or the cig lighter outlets, i'm not sure but there might have been a break in the line to the cig lighter itself, also, another way to test if you have 12v going to each cig lighter is to do a polarity test. Good Luck!

Polarity test? (Hope that is not like checking a 9V battery.)

ok.. lol.. check for 12 volts.
You have two wire leads to the back of the cig lighter. a + and a -.

Ground your tester to your chassis or a ground and put the positive lead from the tester to the + lead.

if you get 12 volts, i dont know
