1998 Explorer Locking Mechanism Schizo
So i have a 1998 Ford Explorer whose power-locking mechanism keeps locking and unlocking itself like a poltergeist has control of the car. It drained my battery once, so i pulled the fuse out. It wouldn't be a problem, but the fuse controls the power windows as well.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Any suggestions?
Since i pulled the fuse out, some lights keep coming up on the dash: the "4wd" and "4wd low". They blink simultaneously five blinks at a very consistent rate every once in a while. My mechanic buddy said it was likely to be some code for an engine trouble. Does anyone know what it means?

locking mechanism on 2001 Eddie Bauer Explorer
I can hear the locking mechanism engage when I use the key/remote; The doors don't lock though. One (inside) rear door handle doesn't return to the resting position, even when the door is secured. I use a steering wheel lock but it's of limited effectiveness. Where do I start troubleshooting?
