Default 4x4 not working

I have an 02 Explorer,Has any one had the problem of the 4x4 not working? I have checked all fuses. Not sure where to go next. I drives fine in 4x2. I bought it from my inlaws and they bought it new and it has never been put in 4 wheel drive. I have read the manual and nothing no lights or anything. Thanks For any responses.

My wifes Explorer 4X4 just went out. Same as yours. No 4X4 auto...No 4X4 High or Low. No lights.

Was working fine, now nothing. I also checked all the fuses and all were OK.

Maybe someone will bless us with their knowledge.

Default Fixed

I ran into a friend and her husband is a master mechanic for ford. The first thing he said was the module behind the glove box. I bought mine from Rocauto for about $180.00 and got it in about 4 or 5 days. Took about 20 minutes to install. That sure beat the dealer cost of $338.38.
