Default 94 Ford Explorer XLT - Disabling Alarm

I have a 94 Ford Explorer XLT. I recently moved and the remote that I was given for the alarm system in my truck was lost in transit. Unfortunately my battery died (from the cold weather) and when I tried to turn it over, the alarm went off and now my truck is armed and I can not start my truck. Can anyone tell me is it possible to manually disable the alarm, and make it so my truck will start?

I have tried to do some research, and I see that I should take out the fuse and that there's a switch under my dashboard...I am not knowledgable when it comes to what happens under the hood...and when I went to look under the dashboard, I came across two switches neither of which turned the alarm off.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

One of the switches should be a little red button. By turning the vehicle on and depressing the button you be able to start it. When it is started, then the second switch, toggle type, can be placed in the opposite position and that should put the system in valet mode.

Or just remove the system, about 5 or 6 wires and resplice the two original wires that were cut to install the system.
