Default 98 Explorer seat lever/mechanism

I have a '98 Explorer and the front driver side seat lever that allows the seat to recline is broken off. Anyone know where I can find a replacement lever/mechanism?

Having same problem and was told I would have to replace the seat as the handle is all one piece. Quite convenient if you ask me...... Good luck

Very common problem as I have found out. Sometimes (rarity) E-Bay has a seat mechanism for sale 35-75 dollars. Fixed mine myself in 45 minutes. Just take plastic cover off and had friend weld a "scab" piece of 1/8 inch sheet metal to original lever. Drilled hole over rivet and tapped two holes into original lever metal and it works fine , daughter has had no problems since. Quick fix if you have some tools.
