Default 99 Explorer Dome Light Issue

Just bought a '99 Explorer and the front dome light does not work, assumed it was the bulbs so I pulled them out and they looked good, but there are copper contact rings that are broken where the bulbs get inserted... What needs to be replaced??

Also right side of the instrument cluster lights do not work, is it worth the trouble to try to replace those bulbs?

Thanks!

On your front dome light, you should replace the socket of the bulb & look for the wiring connections for proper power supply. Secondly, you don’t need to replace all the bulbs!!! Check individual bulb for electric continuity and replace only those that are needed. Recheck the wiring connection and fuse box for any electrical short.
