Default Any lift kits out for a 2002 Explorer ?

Well they have a bunch of lift kits out for the earlier models but I have a 2002 Explorer and I'd like to get more height on it to get some bigger tires on it so its easier to take it off-road.

Anyone have any recommendations to lift kits for a 2002 Explorer

I've got a 99 that has a 4 inch lift with 33 12.5 15s on it. Super Lift also sells one for the 02.the ride isn't to bad on or off the road.

Nick you didn't say if you have a 4dr or a sport. I'll assume you have a 4dr. If you have a sport I've been told the Ranger body lifts will work.

I have an 02 XLS 4x4 and like all other 02 and up Explorer 4drs it has the fully independent suspension. There are NO LIFT KITS OUT for the IRS Explorer. I've been told of a quick lift that uses taller springs. I think it's made by Superlift.
However there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am in the process of designing a long arm lift kit.
Some rear frame mods WILL BE NEEDED so that the half shafts can drop through the frame.
I am drawing it out on my CAD program now but it will take some time before it's done.
After it's fully dsigned I have to build mock-ups to test for any binding, then actually build the first lift to test on my own Explorer. I plan on using the stock shocks and springs to keep the cost down. Plus it will have a smoother ride. I'm aiming for a 6 inch lift. I have most of it done except for the half shafts. I have to talk to some companys about custom shafts. I'll keep you posted on how it's going.

Thanks,
Yankee
