I'll probably get more answers than you got if I were to ask for a photo of a cool bumper for my skydoo ... Ever heard about the GIGO concept? Google it, it should be an eye-opener...

You know, pointless is in the eyes of the beholder ... if you can't appreciate the value shared via this forum, then do yourself and all of us a favor and spend your online time elsewhere. An apology would also be in order.

I think you'd be kind of a trend setter on fabricated bumpers on an Explorer. Come to think about it, I've never seen a tube, plate/diamond plate, stainless, or anything other than OEM on any Explorer here. So,, if you have an idea of what you want to incorporate into a rear bumper there's plenty on iron working experience here Are you looking to carry/rack the bumper, lighting, tow? You certainly see a lot of custom bumpers on F Series trucks, Expo's, Excursions, but not so much on the Explorer.

Pointless may be a bit harsh, but usually when you ask a question within a custom build and options you want to add or change, you may get a better response with the idea or design of what you want to build.. If you do build it,, do post some images..
