Default Dash Board Lights

I cannot locate a source for the dash board lights for my 1996 Explorer. Specifically the fog lamp, head lamp, rear washer and rear wiper control dash lights. They are very small irregular looking bulbs that the dealer cannot get. Does anyone have a source for these bulbs beside the salvage yards?

have you pulled the bulb out? if so, just go to a parts store, and if they dont have them, im sure they can order them.

There are 2 different bulbs in the instrument cluster. The pn's are written on the bulb. I got mine at WALMART. PEPBOYS, AUTO ZONE or any good Auto Parts Store will have them, but none of them can tellyou what bulbs you need. You will have to remove them and take them with you.

PS: Getting to the bubls is not easy. Purchase a Chilton book for $16 and it will give you step by step to get there. Be carelful, as the dask parts are plastic and can be easily cracked. It will take you about an hour to do get to the bulbs for a first timer!
