T-CASE ASSISTANCE
DUDES,
I just pulled my B.W. T13-54 Case out to install gasket between it and A4LD( was leaking fluid here ). I wondered
should there even be any fluid in this cavity to leak out ? There wasnt a lot of fluid there ( 1/2 cup at dissasembly ), but
would continuosly drip. Will putting in gasket stop this or should fluid not be getting in here ?
Also if any of yall know any things I should do or look at on this t-case to make it last longer or keep anything from
breaking, while I have it in the floor, I would greatly appreciate that info.
A link to an exploded view of this t-case would be helpful too.
Thanks for your help and GOD Bless Yall. [8D]

RE: T-CASE ASSISTANCE
DUDE !!!! yea thats why theres a gaskit there to keep the oil in !!!!!, things to look for ,, any cracks in the cases both tranny an xfer , look at the splines on both units is there any under cutting of the splines . I use to grease the splines to help cut down on the wear. An check linkage , any plastic bushings cracked worn -- ? replace them now. Hows the breather tube hose look , is it plugged with dirt ? , dont leave the hose off , seen ppl do this an then wonder why they have water in the xfer ???( remember that river crossing last week )Change the oil OFTEN in the xfer !!! I used 4X$ a lot , I use to change xfer oil , every time I changed Eng. oil, I had over 260,000 miles when I sold My truck, never had a xfer problem ,,, Good luck
