Heres my '98 Explorer XLT 4WD,
17" Chrome SSC Performance, lowered 3" front and rear,
what do you think I should do to it next?

Im planning on:
Blue Undercarriage Kit
clearcorners
blackout smoke taillight covers
blue LED inside front/rear light casings

sounds like you have it pretty well desined out on your own. I might say some upgraded lights rather than blackout covers. I don't know where you are located, but the law usually does not like those.

I won't get into my feelings on lowering a 4x4...

if you are looking for just on road perfomance, is there anyway that you could dump the front drive axle, or is it AWD on the road?

Im from mass, ive heard that people had some problems with blackout tail covers, but ive seen enough
of them around where i dont think i will have a problem installing them.

as for the 4wd, ive designed this thing to be adjustable for winter (being new england, only and
idiot would leabe their ride in that shape all the way through winter). once the stock tires
go back on, the whole ride will easily raise 3 inches, and i want to preserve the 4WD, since,
well, snow. ugh.
i figure since rest of the mods are cosmetic, the season wont be a problem.
